Prime Summit, Inc., recently released details of its first event, PRIME: River Valley Professional Summit. The event is scheduled for Friday, September 21, 2018, from 9am – 4:30pm.
The participants and venues have been identified for the event, according to Karin Hickenbotham, COB faculty sponsor of the UAFS Rotaract student organization of Rotary International, and a sponsor of the event.
“This summit is for anybody who loves our region and wants to become a more active part of its future,” Prime board member Dalton Person said.
According to documents provided by organizers, Prime Summit, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit “supported by a board of volunteers and the financial commitments from our presenting sponsor, the Fort Smith Downtown Rotary Club, as well as 64.6 downtown, the UAFS Alumni Association, and Rightmind Advertising, Inc.”
The stated mission of the organization is to “encourage young professionals to pursue fulfilling long-term careers in the Arkansas River valley by providing opportunities to connect, network, and inspire positive change in themselves, their organizations, and their communities.”
The daylong event includes breakout sessions, two keynote speakers and networking opportunities. Sampling of breakout sessions include:
